hi ok do you guys see the shirt I’m wearing? I’m going to be asking my mother if I can send some out to whoever is interested in having one.

It has Fares Odeh on it with the quote:

The tyrant dies and his rule is over, the martyr dies and his rule begins.

    -Søren Kierkegaard

We have tons cause we had extra when we made them. If you’re interested, let me know. like I said, I’ll be talking to my mother soon about it.

You know what I don’t understand?

The picture that’s going around of Jesus Christ that says:

“Born in the Middle East to a Middle Eastern peasant,
portrayed with white skin and blue eyes.”

Uh..I was born to two Middle Eastern parents..and I have white skin and green eyes?

My mom’s family is EXTREMELY pale and some even have blonde hair and blue eyes.

Pictured above are my uncle with white skin and green/blue eyes and his son with blonde hair, white skin, and blue eyes.

Here is another one of my cousins with white skin and green eyes.

My brother with white skin and green eyes.

Cousin with white skin and green eyes. Her mother is pale and has blue eyes.

and then of course there’s me with white skin and green eyes.

It’s funny because just today some people were telling me I’m too white to be Arab.

I’m sorry, there are no set in stone physical characteristics of being Arab, or anything for that matter.

Even worse is when a Muslim reblogs that photo of Jesus. We don’t even believe in depictions of Jesus Christ or any significant figure in our religion because we don’t know how they looked! For all we know, he really could have white skin and blue eyes.

So, kiddos, before reblogging that photo and think you’re all superior and shit, stop and think, “do I know any Middle Easterns with white skin and blue eyes?”

because the answer will most likely be yes.
